Finding purpose in the work

I was drawn to Tāmaki Health because it gave me the opportunity to combine my passion for finance and strategy with work that genuinely impacts people's lives. Knowing that my work contributes to improving access to healthcare made the role particularly meaningful to me.

Growing with Tāmaki Health

I joined Tāmaki Health as a Finance Business Partner within the FP&A team, where I supported business performance, planning, and decision-making across the organisation. Later, I was given the opportunity, to further develop my career by transitioning into the Commercial & Corporate Development team. Since then, I've been involved in strategic projects, clinic acquisitions, and growth initiatives that have broadened my experience and helped me develop both professionally and personally.

What I enjoy most

For me, it's the people. My role allows me to work with teams from across the organisation, and I enjoy learning from colleagues with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. The variety of projects means no two days are ever the same.

A moment I’m proud of

One of the moments I'm most proud of was being part of the planning team that helped support the Otara clinic's transition to a 24/7 service. Seeing the positive feedback from patients, media and the wider community after launch reinforced how important accessible healthcare is and made all the hard work feel worthwhile.

Being part of the team

Being part of the Commercial & Corporate Development team gives me the opportunity to contribute to Tāmaki Health's growth and long-term strategy. I enjoy working with teams across the organisation on clinic acquisitions, and other growth initiatives, and seeing ideas progress from planning through to delivery.
